The first Ovis et cetera Advent calendar!
This calendar consists of 24 x 25-gram Igneae mini skeins. This is a minimalistic calendar, just mini skeins. But with its 25-gram skeins, it is slightly more hefty than the usual advent calendar, 600 grams of yarn together! More than enough for at least one garment, a substantial blanket. But also perfect for individual little projects.

The idea for this calendar came from the popular Igneae mini skein sets, which are made up of 6 skeins. And 4x6=24 You could say the calendar is 4 Igneae mini skein sets in a row.

I associated the seasons with the number 4, so every 6 days we travel through a season, and like in nature, the seasons flow into each other, to form one cohesive colour story. Not as a fade, but as a colour family, to be able to mix and match to your heart's content.

Your mini skeins will be individually wrapped in numbered paper bags which I encourage you to use again.

Igneae is a luxurious blend of non-superwash wool, ramie and silk. 100% made out of natural fibers. Soft, shiny and drapey, very suitable for accessories and garments or a pair of luxurious socks.

Ramie is a plant fiber that gives shine and drape. It is very strong and anti bacterial. The silk makes Igneae even more shiny and soft.

Igneae is grown and spun in South America.
Hand dyed with Greener shades acid dyes (GOTS certified, no heavy metals)

Handwash with a mild detergent and lay flat to dry.
